(Proverbs 8:34 KJV) Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.
There is a word here that we are very good at ignoring in our walk with Jesus. That neglect leads to great pain, frustration and possibly failure. The word is not theological or subtle. It does not take a college degree or a high intelligence to understand.
We are to be “daily” (3117).
This is the simple Hebrew word yom that simply means “day.” It gives us some things to do every day. We are to listen or hear. We are to watch. We are to wait. Notice the lack of big words. We can do this.
So? Do they still make One-a-Day Brand Multiple Vitamins? God had the idea first. It is more than a brand, it is a way of life. It is a way to life. It is the way to live.

"Wait" is another word that gets over-looked a lot as we go charging windmills.
Waiting also requires wisdom. I guess we are conditioned to "do something." We don't think about how we might be making things worse.
Yeah.
Grace and peace.
