(Proverbs 6:25 KJV) Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids.
Does this verse condemn “beauty” (3308)? As I looked through the use of the word it has a moral value based on its context, like so many words. It is used to describe God and Jerusalem. Usually it is used in such a way as to say it is not all that important. It is fleeting. I don’t do a lot of click bait when I am online but I notice there is one that wants to show us how celebrities have aged. The one picture they give without clicking is not pretty.
Being attractive is not a sin. Being preoccupied with outward appearance is. It is so easy for us to be distracted by beauty that we need to be warned against it.
So? Work on looking at the inner person. There is no real correlation between being good looking and being a good person. Be leery of eye candy. It may not make a difference if you are choosing which table in the lunch room to sit at but it will in whom to take out to dinner.
