(Proverbs 19:19 KJV) A man of great wrath shall suffer punishment: for if thou deliver him, yet thou must do it again.
A passing thought hits me as I think about people with a temper. Is a short temper similar to alcoholism? They have similarities. Both claim that they cannot control themselves. Both cause a lot of damage. Both will often have someone trying to shield them from the problems created. At the same time, neither “wrath” (anger NASB) (2534) nor alcohol are condemned categorically.
When the problem becomes “great” (1419) then it may be time to step back and wait. There are so many areas in life that drag people down and can only be cured when the dragee reaches a point where they are ready to change. Then you might be able to help but the sad truth is that many people never hit bottom until it is too late.
So? Prayer, example and a trust in the work of the Holy Spirit are better weapons than all of the clinics, counseling an rehabs in the country. Much of the tragedy we see is because we have surrendered the leadership to the “professionals” instead of the professing.

I responded to your comment on my blog. You might want to check it out. ;-)
I generally bookmark comments and go check later but on your blog by the time I get back my computer often can't find the post. I don't know if you take them down or Blogger has something against me but there it is.
Notice the guy only said "probably".
Grace and peace.
