Plug In

(Pro 8:17 KJV)  I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

This could be quoted as a verse having to do with those seeking salvation.  The weakness is that due to original sin we are incapable of reaching out to God on our own.  Because of the Holy Spirit we are enabled to do so which means the understanding of this verse for salvation pivots on the whole picture you give.

This is more appropriate as a promise to those who are already believers.  It is a reminder that God will meet us.  He will not leave us hanging.

So?  Just like a plug removed from the socket we are powerless unless we are in contact with Him who is the source of power.  Stay plugged in.
