2+2=5

(Pro 20:10 KJV)  Divers weights, and divers measures, both of them are alike abomination to the LORD.

Are you familiar with the mathematical problem that goes 2+2=5?  I believe it comes from the book 1984.  I am in the first few chapters of the book and have not come across it yet but the central concept of Communism is that truth is whatever the government tells you it is.  In this verse the question is brought up in regard to honesty in business.  If you are reading 1984 or are into certain government proclamations then the point needs to be extended to the rest of life.

Truth is truth.  Truth does not change.  It does not vary based on what special group is the target of the action.  Bible believing Christians cannot allow themselves to be brainwashed into believing that certain people are more deserving than others just because the government and popular opinion says so.

So?  We serve a God who is not considerate of face, or as it is interpreted, is not partial.  Give a fair deal.  It makes a difference in eternity.
