(Act 20:26 KJV) Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
(Proverbs 18 also read)
When I read this a certain bit of prophecy came to mind. I could not find it in any of the cross references which is a good reason to keep your own mind awake. I felt like Paul was referring back to the words of Ezekiel,
(Eze 3:18 KJV) When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.Paul had preached. He had taught. He had talked endlessly. During that time he did not pull punches on truth. I wish I could say the same and I am afraid that it is a common failure in Christian circles.
We don’t want to offend. We want to be liked. We don’t feel we have the right words. We still are the ones with the truth. This should be a bit easier at Christmas time because we know what it is all about.
So? If you love, share. For many you may be the only Bible they get near.
