Negative Pluses

(Psa 119:75 KJV)  I know, O LORD, that thy judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.

We generally think of affliction in a negative way.  We tie it to punishment in our minds.  Since that may be the reason we are going through hard times we need to consider that.  It may also simply be something we need to go through to mature or to set an example for someone else.  The point being made here is that God has a reason for the difficulties we go through.  We may not understand it but we need to believe it.

So?  That is part of what it means to live by faith.  In a time of persecution do a prayerful review and see if this is a correction or a statement of His confidence in you.
